Granite Maintenance
In general granite is a worry-free surface that practically takes care of itself.
Make sure to keep grime and sand-like material off the countertops. Regular cleaning
consists of wiping your countertops down with a light solvent or a soap and water
mixture. Do not use anything with a high acidic content or abrasives.
Tips & Warnings
- Routine cleaning with a light solvent or mild soap and water is all that is generally required.
- Once a year, a re-application of a penetrating sealer should be performed, which only takes about 15 minutes
- Ask a professional to remove or repair a scratchs, chips, & etc..
- Don't use abrasive cleaners such as dry cleansers, scouring powders, or 'soft' cleansers
